Process all admission and demographic information ensuring it is complete, contact facility when needed
Verify payer status; ensure receipt of insurance cards and Pharmacy Enrollment Agreement.
Coordinate with Claims Management and Billing for prior authorization.
Process daily census for any admissions/discharges, room changes, and payer type changes.
Setup and enter new customer accounts brought on service, to ensure all resident information is received and entered prior to go live date.
Establish relationships with appropriate staff in customer facilities to further ensure that timely information is received on all new admissions, census changes and discharges.
Process and complete responsible party letters for prior authorizations
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Familiarity with insurance and claims is preferred
Minimum of one year of experience in patient demographic entry and/or medical patient intake preferred.
