  • Overview

    Functioning as the lead contact, the Account Manager is responsible for supporting a variety of customer service activities for a determined group of client facilities.  This includes site visits, investigation of concerns or issues to resolution, training community/facility staff  regarding pharmacy policies and processes, and introducing and training of  My Remedi and new releases as applicable.


    1. Schedule and conduct communities/facilities visits in a consistent and timely manner in order to monitor and support client needs.
    2. Complete of site visit forms.
    3. Track all visits and site activities in on a weekly basis.
    4. Notify supervisor and the Pharmacy’s General Manager when an issue is reported or observed.
    5. Completes and submits Progress Reports as appropriate.
    6. Reports names of new community/facility staff to pharmacy office for inclusion in the pharmacy directory and enters updated information into Salesforce
    7. Establishes relationship with the community/facility management staff.
    8. Informs communities/facilities of new pharmacy procedures, processes and forms. Distributes new materials as directed.
    9. Perform medication inspections as requested.
    10. In-service new and transitioning facilities as required. Provides one-to-one instruction to staff nurses as appropriate.
    11. Assists new facilities with transition activities, in-servicing, cart set up, emergency supply set up, etc. as directed.
    12. Other Account Management related duties as assigned.

    15. Support complaint investigations/resolutions in concert with the Nurse Account Manager, the Pharmacy’s General Manager, the consultant pharmacist and/or pharmacy corporate staff.


    • Associate/Bachelor's Degree
    • *Registered Nurse with experience in Long-term care
    • Exhibits ability to communicate verbally and in writing with good English language skills
    • Exceptional organizational skills, able to self direct activities and prioritize responsibilities.  
    • Ability to teach adults, excellent verbal and written communication skills, good social skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines\
    • Exhibits problem solving skill, and exhibits ability to develop and implement appropriate training materials.
    • Ability to bend and lift 30 pounds
    • Subject to random drug screening
    • Must maintain ability to travel up to 300 miles per work day sometimes it is more (not the norm) 
    • Adheres to the dress code, business casual when in the facilities
