  • Overview

    Working in conjunction with site HR Business Partners to assist and/or coordinate various HR activities in accordance with established HR policies and procedures.


    • Coordinate the pre-employment new hire process. Lead the delivering of new-employee orientations and on-boarding activities across the enterprise in an accurate and timely manner.  Coordinate parallel activities for agency temporaries, contractors and independent consultants.
    • Coordinate post-hire processes ensuring consistent, compliant and timely handling of all documents and activities.
    • Support employee inquiries/questions about Federal/state taxes, checking accounts, demographic and personal information change in HRIS.
    • Assist with Talent Acquisition activities to include, resume data base scanning/review, candidate screening, interview coordination, new hire material collation, offer material mailing, OIG exclusion listing review, background checks, etc.
    • Provide first level triage on Benefits questions. Assist with corrections and interface with private exchange vendor for in-bound and out-bound weekly reporting as well as data audits for all lines of coverage.
    • Process the 401(k) investment elections, loans and distributions.
    • Respond to external background check requests, mortgage applications, unemployment documents, etc.
    • Coordinate correspondence with terminated employees regarding benefits related questions.
    • Coordinate annual HR initiatives and compliance/reporting requirements to include EEO-1 reporting, Performance Review coordination, OSHA stat collection and posting, State/Federal labor law posters, Affordable Care Act compliance reporting,
    • Assist in compensation market analysis project for all pharmacy locations to include the standardization and update of all job descriptions.
    • Support the employee engagement project by coordinating activities across the enterprise to include initiatives that support the ACCEL program.
    • All other HR related duties and/or projects as assigned.


    • Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field, or equivalent of professional experience.
    • Minimum of five (5) years-appropriate HR office experience, or office managerial position with a focus on HR generalist responsibilities and comprehensive computer knowledge.
    • Must have effective written and oral skills with English as the primary language.
