Overview

Remedi's new General Manager in Baltimore, MD will oversee the operations of Remedi's flagship pharmacy, covering multiple states in the Mid-Atlantic region. The General Manager will direct the leadership of our largest operation to ensure adherence to pharmaceutical functions as they relate to the safe and effective administration and delivery of medication to our clients. 

Responsibilities

  1. Supervise the leadership of the dispensing pharmacy to ensure compliance with all aspects of drug preparation for medication administration for Remedi clients to include: Order Entry, Medical records, Fulfillment Operations, RPhs, Delivery, and Administration.
  2. Works in conjunction with Sales/Account Management. and Consulting Services to ensure proper coordination with the pharmacy operations and seamless support for the facilities.
  3. Work directly with Regional Vice President, and the Remedi Compliance Officer to ensure compliance with Remedi Policies and Procedures
  4. Explore and implement new work flow, processes, technology/systems and related leadership configurations to enhance or improve pharmacy and/or client efficiency 
  5. Acting as point person with customers, develop/maintain strong relationships with Administrators, DONs and other client personnel.
  6. Working in conjunction with Finance and corporate leadership, monitors the P&L, manage to site pharmacy budget and reports on status/forecast at monthly Operating Review meetings.
  7. Oversee and provide leadership in the training of all site management to maximize accuracy and efficiency from OE through medication delivery and consulting services.
  8. Maintains high client satisfaction through open dialogue with clients and clear communication and direction with the pharmacy site leadership 
  9. Maintain leadership skills and knowledge to foster team development, motivation and operational excellence.
  10. Engages in/directs weekend and overnight leadership, to ensure continuity of workflow, accuracy of product and timeliness of deliveries.
  11. Supports site employee engagement initiatives, focusing on inclusion, motivation and achievement of Company values and Culture.

Qualifications

  • BS in Pharmacy, business or related management field of study and five years of direct management experience within pharmacy or related health care setting
  • Minimum of five years managing day to day activities in a long term care pharmacy environment. 
  • Proven team building and leadership ability
  • Experience with budget and staff management
  • Must be dependable with ability to be flexible, function independently and works under pressure with multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Must have strong organizational, time management skills, ability to problem solve.
  • This position will be exposed to highly confidential information and data that disclosed would be against Federal and State HIPAA law and contrary to the company’s policies and to professional ethics.
